This is the Firm Slab Box that I made. Some new techniques I used when making this was drying out the clay before using it, cutting the edges that met other clay at a 45 degree angle, and also using small lines of clay to make the joining places smoother. I also put small balls around the outside of the box partly for a better holding place for the box, and partly to have a 3D aspect on the box. I found the overall project easy to  understand and more or less easy to do. The only difficult part was using clay to smooth the joining places, but even that wasn't very difficult. 
 
 
In my opinion, my pinch pot animal after being in the kiln for the first time turned out great! Every piece that was meant to stay on did, including the teeth that I expected would fall off because they are so small. What I believe I did correctly was scored and slipped what I wanted to stay on, and I also put the hole in the bottom of the pinch pot so it is still there but isn't noticeable from the front. I hope it will stay intact like this for the next glazing and next firing.
